The swing check valve adopts an internal rocker arm swing structure. All the opening and closing parts of the valve are installed inside the valve body and do not penetrate the valve body. Except for the sealing gasket and sealing ring used at the middle flange, there is no external leakage point on the whole, thus avoiding the possibility of valve leakage. The lifting check valve's disc is located on the sealing surface of the valve seat on the valve body. In addition to the free lifting of the valve disc, the rest of the valve is like the globe valve. The fluid pressure lifts the valve disc from the sealing surface of the valve seat, and the medium backflow causes the valve disc to fall back to the valve seat and cut off the flow.
The connection between the swing check valve rocker arm and the valve disc adopts a spherical connection structure, which allows the valve disc to have a certain degree of freedom within 360 degrees, with appropriate micro-position compensation. Swing check valves have been widely used in many fields, such as chemical industry, metallurgy, pharmacy, etc.
According to the service conditions, the valve disc can be all-metal structure, or it can be in the form of inlaying rubber pad or rubber ring on the valve disc frame. Like the globe valve, the passage of fluid through the lift check valve is also narrow, so the pressure drop through the lift check valve is larger than that of the swing check valve, and the flow of the swing check valve is limited very little.
